THINGS TO DO IN GLASGOW

Things to Do in Glasgow if You Don’t Want to Visit Museums

There are many things to do in Glasgow. If you don’t like museums, don’t worry because there is plenty to do and see in the city.

The Clydeside Distillery: Glasgow, Scotland, was at one time home to over 100 whisky distilleries. Now there are two independent single malt distilleries. The Clydeside Distillery is open to the public for tastings and tours.

Oran Mor: This is a former church in the West End that is now converted to two bars, a nightclub, and two restaurants. You can come here anytime for a meal but a popular activity is the lunchtime theater. It was founded in 2004 and produces 39 plays a year.

Glasgow Central Station Tour: You can get a behind-the-scenes look at Glasgow Central Station. It’s the second busiest railroad station in the country and you get to explore some of the disused Victorian boiler rooms, platforms, and tunnels. The tour focuses on architecture and history.
